Dr. Valerie Martins, a Board Certified Periodontist, founded Martins Dental Partners to bring her dream of a full-service dental practice focused on delivering an unparalleled patient experience to life. Dr. Martins discovered her love of Dentistry as a teenager while working in the dental office of a family friend, where she was fascinated by the close relationships between dentists, staff, and patients. Today, creating close relationships with her team and patients is the foundation of Martins Dental Partners philosophy.
Q: What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
A: The most memorable advice I’ve ever received was from my late grandmother Tsilia. While the saying sounds much more sentimental and meaningful in Russian, which is my grandmother’s native language, the translation is “live while you’re still living”. My grandmother always tried to embrace life to the fullest. I try to remember how important each day is, each moment is and to live each day to the fullest.
Q: What’s your favorite inspirational quote?
A: “Say what you mean and mean what you say”.
Q: If you could travel to anywhere in the world, where would it be?
A: I love vacations that are a mix of relaxation and culture and always in a warm climate. I’ve never been to Greece so I would love to make that my next trip!

A: Ambitious

A: Atomic Cafe – I love the vibe of the new space and the coffee is amazing! I’ve also gotten to know the owner, John Mahoney, who has been very supportive and a great resource as we were getting started.
