Are you accepting new patients?

Yes, we’re accepting new patients. Right now, new patients will receive a $100 credit to their account to be applied to any service not covered by their dental insurance.

Why is my first appointment at Martins Dental Partners not a cleaning?

Your first visit to Martins Dental Partners is focused on getting to know you, your goals, and your concerns before we get to know your teeth. In fact, there are three specific reasons your first visit with us is not a cleaning.

What are my options for covering smile flaws?

If you have flaws like chips or stains, you can choose from several options to cover them: dental veneers, thin porcelain “shells” we apply to the front surfaces of teeth; dental crowns, which cover the entire tooth; or tooth bonding, an affordable procedure that involves applying tooth-colored resin to teeth. Our professional teeth whitening treatments work well to remove surface stains and brighten your smile. We offer other cosmetic dental treatments too, including Invisalign, teeth contouring, and gum reshaping.

Can I get dental implants?

We offer many kinds of dental implants, thanks to the expertise of Dr. Valerie Martins, a board-certified periodontist and member of the Academy of Osseointegration. She places and restores implants so you only need to see one doctor for your complete dental implant procedure. She can replace anywhere from a single tooth to an entire mouthful of teeth using implants and dental restorations like crowns, bridges, and dentures. You may even be a candidate to receive your implants and replacement teeth in just one appointment.

Can you help me overcome my fear of the dentist?

Absolutely! We offer different levels of sedation to help anxious patients relax when they visit our office. Laughing gas and oral sedation effects range from a euphoric feeling to being deeply relaxed while we work. You can find out more about our sedation options when you call to schedule your appointment. We cannot erase your fear in one appointment, but we can make you much more comfortable so that, with time, you feel much more relaxed about visiting the dentist!

Is dental sedation safe?

Yes! Before we give sedation to any patient, we check their health history and review risks with them. We know everyone can feel anxious at least occasionally at the dentist. Unlike many general dentists, we offer different types of dental sedation so you can choose the degree of relaxation that works best for you. You can get inhaled sedation (laughing gas), which takes the edge off and wears off quickly so you can drive yourself home after a procedure; or oral sedation, which uses FDA-approved medication to keep you conscious but deeply relaxed.
