I have always been fascinated by people. I truly love the process of getting to know someone and their life’s story — successes, failures and dreams for the future.

My parents and I immigrated to the United States from Kiev, Ukraine, when I was just 8 years old. Watching my parents rebuild their lives and focus their energy on my education motivated me to excel in my studies. The summer before college, I worked at a family friend’s dental practice. I spent much of my time shadowing the Doctor, observing treatments and getting a sense of the practice’s flow. During those two months, I was struck by the team atmosphere and camaraderie in the office—everyone genuinely enjoyed working together and helping others. I also couldn’t help but notice the dentist who owned the practice loved everything about his career, from being a business owner to his ability to positively change lives. That summer experience made it clear to me, dentistry was a perfect fit.

I completed my undergraduate studies at Brandeis University, majoring in psychology while following the pre-dental track, and went on to attend dental school at Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts. Remaining in the Boston area just felt right—especially since my then-boyfriend, now husband and business partner, lived there as well.
While at Tufts Dental School, I grew fascinated with dental surgery, and the way implants and regenerative procedures can help restore patients’ health and function. I am still fascinated by the ongoing technological advancements and clinical research that makes it possible to rebuild someone’s smile and improve their quality of life. After graduating dental school, I stayed on at Tufts, completing a three-year residency in Periodontology. I’ve been working in private practice as a Board-Certified Periodontist since graduation in 2010.

For years, my husband Derrick and I dreamed about opening a practice together. His entrepreneurial spirit and career in Business Intelligence and Analytics made us the perfect team. Together, we wanted to reinvent dentistry by understanding and delivering what people truly wanted most when going to the dentist – a relaxing and enjoyable experience. With our combined knowledge we knew we could build a practice that offered both exceptional care and an amazing patient experience. Finally, on June 1, 2016, Martins Dental Partners opened its doors in Beverly, Massachusetts. Collaborating with Derrick—and the rest of our growing team—to launch our practice and realize our dream has been incredible.

Martins Dental Partners is a group practice located in the heart of Beverly, MA specializing in comprehensive treatment. In addition to myself, we have two General Dentist Associates who excel in all aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry. In addition to my responsibilities as the owner of the practice, as a Board Certified Periodontist I am also able to offer many advanced services including dental surgery and implants. Collectively, my team and I are able to provide exceptional, convenient, all-inclusive care to every patient.
The mission of Martins Dental Partners is to provide every patient with an amazing experience. For us, that means that every step of the way—from visiting our website to scheduling an appointment to the visit itself —we’ve prioritized the patient experience.

Our modern, technologically advanced office is warm and friendly. All patients receive a tour of the office during their first appointment and patients are welcomed to listen to music or watch Netflix using noise canceling headphones during treatment. We offer a range of sedation options to make the visit as comfortable as possible for patients who may have dental anxiety.

Derrick and I have deep roots in Massachusetts: We both grew up in the state, he on the South Shore and myself on the North Shore. We chose to open Martins Dental Partners in Beverly because we enjoy the vibrant nature of the city, proximity to the coast and the opportunity to contribute to the revitalization of Cabot Street. Our logo is inspired by Beverly’s own Hospital Point Lighthouse and we continuously seek ways to engage with others in Beverly’s community. Through a collaboration with SJ Art Consulting, a local installation business, we recently hosted our first “Art is Medicine” gallery night, featuring Morgan Dyer, a local artist known for her abstract pieces. We’ve also worked with Beverly’s Montserrat College of Art students to host a puppet show for the local preschool, using puppets to teach kids about nutrition and oral hygiene. Our goal is to keep things local: from the coffee we brew to the art we display, when you visit our office you can’t help to notice a number of connections to Beverly and the North Shore community. We are truly happy to call Beverly, MA home!
